Full Property Details :
Seabreeze Holiday Cottage is a wonderful place from which to enjoy peace and quiet along with spectacular sea views of both the Scottish and Irish coastlines. This NITB 5-star accredited property is perfect for families, with an enclosed garden and sandy beach just 5 minutes away; or for a romantic break with total privacy. Sleeps up to 4 plus a baby.
Overview:
Seabreeze is beautiful holiday home right on the coast. Whether you want to hunt fossils on the beach, swim in the harbour nearby, enjoy the bird life on Muck Island (an RSPB site), or simply watch the boats between the Mull of Kintyre and the Glens of Antrim, you will want to visit more than once.
The cottage is only a 35-40 minute drive to Belfast; 25 minutes to Larne; and 6 miles to the bridge connecting to the mainland. The nearest shop is 1 mile; nearest pub 3 miles, and nearest train station is 6 miles away.
The entrance porch leads into the living room with welcoming open gas fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player and music system. There are four panaromic windows looking over the sea and surrounds. An archway takes you into the separate dining room and well-equipped kitchen. There is also a convenient utility room with an extra fridge, BBQs, games and toys for the beach. There is a toilet downstairs, additional to the bathroom with separate bath and shower (which is upstairs). Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a cozy reading corner and views of the valley and the sea. The second twin bedroom is ideal for friends or children and has views of the garden and the sea. There are telephones up and downstairs.
Seabreeze is ideally located for sightseeing in the Glens of Antrim and along the coast road both north and south. In the northern direction you will find Larne, Glenarm, Cushendall and Cushendull, Ballycastle with it’s Oul Lama’s Fair, the Carrick-A-Reed Rope Bridge and Ballintoy harbour as well as the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Whitehead, Portrush and Ballintoy Harbour.
Facing south you can visit Carrickfergus with its Norman castle; Newtownabbey, Glengormley and Jordanstown before coming to Belfast itself.
On Islandmagee itself you can go walking, swimming, cycling, horseback riding, kite flying, upsailing, rock climbing, bird watching and diving. There is a recognised PADI diving centre nearby.
The location of Seabreeze is ideal for exploring some, or all, of these attractions – you tell us what you are interested in, and we show you where to find it; we always try to be of assistance.
The property sleeps 4 plus a baby.
