Ballyhannon Castle and Coach House, County Clare is a beautiful 600 year old authentic Irish Castle, located in a tranquil part of Co.Clare just 10 minutes from Shannon Airport. It's a magical place to be and somewhere you will NEVER forget, whatever the occasion. It has fulfilled Castle-stay dreams for many!

Overview:

Perfectly located in a tranquil and rural part of Co. Clare, yet only 2 minutes from the main motorway South to West, and 10 minutes from Shannon Airport.

Ballyhannon Castle is a 600 year old historic and authentic Castle, and it amazes everybody who enters its arched doorways into the Keep tower.  It has been home to some famous guests and has been the location for some tv shows, weddings, special birthdays, honeymoons, romantic breaks as well as simple self-catering holidays, and has seen guests from all over the world. 

The adjacent Coach House compliments Castle-stays offering a very homely atmosphere and allows large groups to stay between the two buildings on grounds of three acres.  The small ponies in the field are always welcoming to our guests as this is horse-land!  Our neighbours run a horse-riding school and there are plenty of fields for riding/trekking/hunting, and plenty of racehorses are raised and bred locally.  Fishing, sailing, surfing, cycling, walking, sight-seeing, relaxing, enjoying some real Irish “craic” at local pubs, dining, traditional Irish music sessions, shopping …. Whatever you could possibly want in a break away can be found close by.  Most especially – rest and relaxation surrounded by tranquillity and awesome buildings.
