24 Altmore Street is a traditional family home providing comfortable accommodation. Situated on the verge of the entrance to Glenarm forest, this house is ideal for both a weekend break and a longer stay to explore the beautiful Antrim Coast.  Awarded 4 star grading by NITB.

Overview:

A Northern Ireland Tourist Board approved 4 star property, 24 Altmore Street is a superb and well equipped holiday home set along the stunning North Antrim Coast of Ireland.

The lounge/dining room has an open fire and original shutters, with French doors opening onto the large garden. The galley kitchen is bright and well-equipped, including a washing machine and dryer. There are two spacious double bedrooms and three single rooms. A corner bath and shower is provided in the bathroom upstairs; there is also a toilet on the ground floor.

Glenarm is the first of the Nine Glens situated on the beautiful Antrim Coast Road. It is a small village with a shingle beach, a marina, a post office, shops, tea rooms and pubs. It is also home to a silversmith’s workshop and shop. The house is situated yards from the entrance to Glenarm forest with its stunning walks. Glenarm Castle can be seen from one of the attic bedrooms. The Castle has gardens and tea rooms open to the public during the summer months.

Glenarm is the perfect base from which to explore the coast road, the Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Glenariff Forest Park, as well as the numerous charming villages and stunning sea views. The nearest large town is Ballymena, approximately 30 minutes drive from the property, with a good selection of shops and supermarkets. The capital city of Belfast, with its theatres, historic buildings and extensive shopping facilities is forty minutes by car.
